Where Bloggers Create III Studio Tour

Thank you, Karen of My Desert Cottage for hosting this fun party!

DCF 1.0

Hi, I’m Brownie and my mom wants me to welcome you to her doghouse – uh, studio. So step right up because…

Gypsy is in 2 copy

Thru the door…

DCF 1.0

The work bench is on the left, kiln and storage on the right. I’ve covered the shelves of plastic boxes with fabric.

DCF 1.0

The back window.

DCF 1.0

The beading and jewelry workbench at the back…

DCF 1.0

A ruby slipper souvenir from my last trip to Oz and vintage beads in glass tubes.

DCF 1.0

The front workbench – the elephant is a light…

DCF 1.0

Original artwork by Patrick Lincoln called “The Ghosts of Hamburgers Past”…

DCF 1.0

Rocks to remind me of my values…

DCF 1.0

My sewing machine – I’ve been cleaning the studio and putting away messy stuff like paint so I can bring out my old friend here and start working with fabric…

DCF 1.0

The fabric (some of it) lives in this old suitcase and I use the cosmetic case for thread.

DCF 1.0

Some of the storage…

DCF 1.0

Contains goodies…

DCF 1.0

Fun stuff…

DCF 1.0

And Victorian style ornaments made by my mother.

DCF 1.0

On top of the main shelves are the studio witches because every crafter needs some magic!

DCF 1.0

And my box with mission statements – very important.

Some of what I make…

Necklaces and earrings…

A wonderful magical space. I love the buddha on the green chest overlooking everything! It is so nice to see your work too. Most of the spots haven't featured the work that goes on there. I like your post very much. *smiles* and *namaste* to you too! Norma

Your earrings and studio are fantastic. I love the pendants that you do also. I am still trying to get to all the studios. I think your collections are great. Especially the Barbies. That chandelier is to die for. Thanks for the tour. What part of Arizona do you live in. We moved from Pinetop-Lakeside but that was 16 years ago. I miss Arizona though. I love that state!

Oh, I also wanted to say that I love border collies. We have had two now. Your doggy looks like Rex from the movie 'Babe' and ours looks more like the female border collie in that movie. Happy creating to you. I am your newest follower.
